Hi all,

I have a 1999 320 CLK Elegance and fancu giving it a sportier look with slightly lowered suspension.

What is the best option here eg Bilstein, Eibach etc that will give a decent ride on british roads ?

Both mentioned companies have good reviews from users here. Particularly the Bilstein B12 and B14 coil-overs.

Thanks guys.

What is the difference between the B12 and B14 ?

Also, are they best used with their own springs or with H&R or Eibach springs ?

I am looking for a fast road setup lowered by about 30mm, so nothing too hard etc.

B12 is fixed ride height at 50mm lower than stock. B14 is adjustable ride height 20 - 60mm lower than stock. Both come as a complete set-up with matched lower springs. Bilstein use H&R springs.

B12 @ £700 B14 @ £1100 (approx) + fitting
