If I wanted to lower my CLK, are there any "one stop shops" in the North West where they will supply and fit all the components I would need? Whilst I go and read the paper in a Starbucks / Costa for example? :)

It looks spot on as it is. However if it feels "wrong" with you thats good enough for me.
Good Luck with your search for the right "garage" next to a Starbucks/Costa.

Thanks John

I'm just clueless when it comes to this and the thought of having to source all the bits n pieces myself doesn't appeal and there's zero chance of me carrying out the installation! I think the front of the car sits right but I think the rear wheels look a bit lost in the arches. I was told about using spacers to address that, so that'll probably be my first port of call.

Does IBW supply and fit shocks & springs etc??

Fit a set of Bilstein B12 coil-overs, lowers the car by 50mm. A walk in the park for Ian :)

at the moment it does look a bit high. i just had my car lowered and you do notice bumbs a bit more but thats about it, i have always had 18's on all my cars i had 16's on the old 202 and it felt wierd... i suppose it what your used to

I've not got these (yet!!) but others have reported a much better ride at speeds over ~20mph with the harder hits much better smoothed and controlled.

Being lowered I don't think it will ever be as smooth as, say, the ride from the Elegance set-up
