I am also considering upgrading from audio 20.
I have heard this german android car system is doing marvels and people are very happy with the sound quality and operating system response is exellent. In their website they save they have stereo frames for any car for about £20. The brand is not very popular in UK though.

I'd only go for an oem looking unit, if going for a rectangular one, I'd rather go for Pioneer. But I'd prefer to maintain the oem look, if I could get a mp3 source to the audio 20, I'd be happy to leave it as it is.

If they are still being made & sold, it means that they're selling somewhere... Someone must have this installed. At £500 it really has no excuse to lack quality, especially being produced in the far east. They list all the processor & ram details online usually.
They seem quite good to be honest, endless stuff you can install and options for music and compatible with steering wheel controls and also looks like OEM. I will be waiting a while before I'll give that kind of money though.
I'm on the same thoughts as you pal, if you find some info or someone's installation, please share it here. Sooner or later, I need to add a good music source to the car!
