W209 Cabriolet Roof Question

Hi all

Can anybody confirm if the W209 cabriolet roof has a manual latch you have to undo before electrically lowering the roof (like in the W208 cab) - or is it fully automated (no latch to undo)?

Never keen on the latch on a W208 - but wanted to know if W209 has moved on a bit in design (Audi & BMW seem to manage without a latch)

No latch on a 209. Just close the boot separator
