Guys & Gals,

One of my Zenons is dead... came up with "dipped beam malfunction" this morning.... My local Tony Purslow says it could be one of 3 things.... burner or two other things.... anyone know what its more likely to be.... I was shown the burner today at the parts dept... looks like a bulb to me at 100 quid!!!!!!!

Any ideas?????

Most likely culprits are either the burner or the ballast.

A simple bulb swap from side to side should reveal all.

Dont get a burner from a dealer.

I can get one at about £65.

There are indeed 3 causes. Bulb, burner or control unit.

Any idea whether it had been flickering for a while before it blew?
