W209 Command APS - Latest DVD

Hi,
I have just bought an 06 W209 from Mercedes Swindon, the current DVD is labelled 6.3 but I have seen adverts for Version 9.0 on Ebay.

Which is the latest DVD that I can use in this Command unit?

hi,for the CLK w209 as I know the version you have is the latest one, however I do stand to be corrected, Alfie will be your best bet to contact for when the newer one is due.

This is where I get confused because the delaer I have just bought this car off says exactly the same, but on Ebay at the moment is the same system I have with a version 7 DVD?

Version 7 will not work in your car. It is for the S/SL/E/CLS range.

Version 6.3 was the current one for 2006. The version before V9 for your car was version 8.

Thanks does that mean that if I wanted the latest maps for my system then I would need the V9 disk?
