W209 Door Control Module

Hi All,

I have a problem with my door control module and it seems to be a common fault with these cars. I was wondering if anyone knows if the unit i've found 2nd hand will work.

My part Number: 209 820 22 26
2nd hand unit: 209 820 12 26

The chap said it was off the older non face lifted CLK W209. I've tried to get my part fixed with no luck.

Try it, mine didnt have the same part numbers, but still worked.

At worse will i be able to get the 2nd hand one programmed to work properly on the car?

Hi. Can I ask what problems you were experiencing to make you think it is the door module? I have problems with the driver's window and electric seat on my w208 clk.

Its the same problem, my drivers seat, electric window and central locking isn't working. It seems to be a common issue on mercs.

OK thanks for that, I will try and source one. Someone else a while ago said they went to MB and were told it is the ignition/canbus module which costs £1000, which is nearly as much as I paid for the car.

I had the same problem on my 2005 SLK, I went onto Germany Ebay and found a used but working one for 60 Euros delivered...
