W209 Rear Seatbelt Problem

To answer my own question I found another thread that says the torque setting is 30 Nm.

I also now know how to remove the C pillar trim to get to the upper seat belt mount but can't work out what I need to remove to get to the lower mounting point.

Do I have to remove the rear seat somehow or is it accessible if I take off the side panel trim?

I spoke to a technician at the local Mercedes main dealer about what to use to free up sticking seat belts and he recommended a silicon spray rather than a PTFE one.

Anyone ever tried a silicon spray?
