W210 5 speed tiptronic gear selector

As the title says, I need a tiptronic gear selector in good working condition for my 320cdi. I beleive they are all the same regardless of which engine etc but I'm sure someone will be able to confirm for me.

Reversing light switch must work properly please.

Really? That's a real pain in the backside if it is.....

No it's not coded on a w210 or w208.

They are known to have an issue with coming out of park and or transmitting the wrong data to the control unit. So ideally you want one from a breakers.

I was told it needs coding but as you have confirmed it doesn't thats great as any gear selector can be used

Me too I need a gear selector for my e320cdi .

I need a long screwdriver to release it from P . Stuck in a low gear when driving . Display shows a fully lighted block( ie no gear position indicator). reverse is Ok. when to local inde to diagnos with star . Inde says its the selector as the star diagnos does not see the selector .
