W210 Air Con Fans

hi to all i have a 98 w210 estate car e300 td problem i have is air con cooling fans wont cut in when cars going along air con good and cooling i have put a live to fans and they work can anybody tell me were to start looking from there electrical etc... all else seems to be working fine on air con system..many thanx for all previous help hope i can be helped here to

On my old 129 that has almost the same set up and year, the fans only cut in when the engine was up to 100c.
