Hi my boost pipe blew off the other day. its the plactic one after the turbo going to the intercooler. Tried to reconncet it myself at the side of the road with no joy. phoned the aa. he said it looks as if the pipe has broken. he sort of fixed it by using two jubilee clips and some wire. So a jubilee clip tighten to each pipe, then the wire twisting the two jubilee clips together. I know this isnt idea but its got me home and around.
Now i dont know if i should replace the pipe with a new mercedes pipe or with a samco elbow hose. The good thing about the samco hose is that there will be jubilee clips holding it on tight. The thing i dont like about the mercedes pipe is that there a c clip the connect the pipe on the intercooler side.
Am i worring over nothing, and just buy the new part?
