could sombody please help as i have a e300td with a snapped keyblade and the unlock button on the key has stopped working.

can i wire in a aftermarket remote central locking kit into the car so i can finally lock and unlock the car. not sure of which wires and where ill have to connect it all up.

first merc purchased as a project vehicle :thumb:

You will have to trigger the door lock switch as this car uses the CAN for all communication to the PSE (locking module)

thanks, so splicing into the wires that go to the drivers door? do you know which colour wires i will need to go for?

tried fixing my keyfob but no luck, swapped buttons around, still the same though, lock works boot open works, unlock doesent. checked for dry joints but cant see any.

so either need to know where to wire anouther alarm/central locking kit into, or can i get anouther 3 button key and have it coded to the car by a auto locksmith ?

It could be that the PSE pump is not working on the unlock / blow cycle . Check that the pump runs when the car is locked , then see what its doing on the unlock cycle . his pump also works the head rest release . The pump is under the rear seat beside the battery
