Do I check it hot/cold? Engine running or not? Fluid spec if it needs a top up? Cheers Jon

Jan 7, 2012 #2 M MB Tech boy New Member Joined Jan 4, 2011 Messages 13 Location Dorset Car CLC220 CDI, S500L You need the merc gearbox dipstick, it has a cold level (25oc) or a hot(80oc) level on it so either really, Car needs to be in P or N after running through the gears with engine running and you can top it up with mb ATF134 oil.
