Ok folks.I just bought a set of 18"x8" BBS LM replica wheels as the genuine article are a pretty penny. The offset of the wheels is not ideal in the rear, as they came from a friends A4.The wheel is probably sitting 25mm shy of the arch and the whole stance of the car looks a bit limp because of this.I plan on getting 20mm H&R Hubcentric spacers!? Yay or nay?

Second of all is the height factor. As the car is an elegance she is sitting a tad high for my liking on the new rims.I dont want to go nuts slamming it to the ground as I live in the countryside and have to travel all sorts of roads so would ye recommend avantgarde springs and maybe then adjusting the SLS to get the rear of the car to my liking!?

Any help appreciated! :)

Iv located an E320 Estate Avantgarde for breaking and he still has the springs. Are these much lower that the standard Elegance springs?

Whats the offset of the back wheels? I've got hubcentric spacers on mine to bring the alloys out to the arch. Just make sure you get hubcentric spacers, I got mine off eBay.
I'm not sure about the ride heights on w210's.

Yes, about 20mm.

The rear is self leveling so the adjuster rod will need to be adjusted too.

Dont forget you will also need a wheel aligment.

At a guess maybe et42 as they came from an A4.With a quick measure with a tape im reckoning 20mm should do as there is 25-30mm to the arch lip and perhaps a bit less on the front!
