hi guys, how difficult is it to remove and fit new rear bushes on a w210 and would i need any specialist tools. your help while be much appreciated.

Which bushes?rear subframe?the subframe will have to be dropped down, the bushes can be pressed out and in.

If its the multi link arms, its easier to replace the arms than the bushes.

The rear subframe bushes don't need to be pressed in. Just some light elbow grease needed. No need to drop subframe comletely either.

When I replaced the rear bushings in my 210 , i removed the rear hubs and pressed them out with a 50 tonne press . There is a tool for removing the lower hub bushings , bit as i didnt have this i just removed the hubs . It took abouth 3 hours to do the job .
