W211 boot lid doesn't close

Hi all,

Just out at tesco doing a bit of a shop and all of a sudden my boot lid won't close! It just bounces back, I have tried locking and unlocking the car and I have also tried toggling the boot release by the number plate.

Any other ideas?

Wiring faulty! Changed at Mercedes-Benz of Coventry for £39.20 all in!!
