Got the correct kit to take the rear springs out and so thought I'd give it a go. It took me 2 hrs to figure it out and do on one side only . Well It was a first and I'm no mechanic. I realised in the end I had to undo the anti roll bar and base of shock absorber and still the angle wasnt exactly right for the spring tool without using a long bar for leverage and finally it was in. Thats the nearside rear done , it has a rubber housing with a pin that goes in it. Dont know if drivers side will be any different , I hope it will be easier but I needed a friend to lever it whilst I took the spring out after compression. I used a trolley jack and an axle stand.I was hoping to do both today but will have to wait till next week.
If anyone has an easier way , I'll be attempting it next week thanks everyone.
in the meantime i'll search forum and see if anyone else has done it for advice.
