W211 E320...whats wrong in this pic?

Shabby MB springs

These were the replacement for the snapped springs in May 2011

Today, these are the state of them..

Corrosion already taking place. What a joke. :ban:

At least another year till these snapped again maybe??

Incase anyone is wondering what lowering springs i have used, Its COBRA.

Tried, Tested and RATED , they are fitted on my w124 coupe as well.

Them wheels could do with a Refurb! ;)

Exactly, booked in on the 23rd of this month for a diamond cut alloy refurb to finish it all off.

Will be slapping the MB crest centre caps on too.

The height of the damper spring cup is adjustable it was probably down to that.

Thanks, however tried all sorts of 'adjustments'.

To shave off 1.7 inches, fine tuning on any standard shock/springs that has capability would be far fetched.

Really happy with the ride as well, feels the same with no ride comfort compromise with the bonus of better cornering.

Hello mate

I'll second that!! I was pretty surprised at how well they work with the OEM shock damping rate, no compromise required here...he he!

cheers for yesterday and chat soon
