Im currently working on my next mod of a E63 front bumper, and for this i need to replace a parking sensor brackets, I have already got the replacement plastic brackets which attach to the bumper via an adhesive (what looks like double sided sticky tape), the current brackets on the new bumper will need to be prised off.
My question is what would you use to bond the brackets on? the last thing i want is the sticky tape stuff they come with to come off when the bumper is back on!
The brackets have to be changed as the sensors on facelift and prefacelift are very different , so i will still use my original sensors on the facelift bumper.
any comments welcome!
