Noticed today wet patch on drive, just behind drivers side front wheel. After turning st/wheel on full lock noticed shock absorber all wet, looks like it is leaking from there.
I know it is good practice to replace both shocks unless car is low mileage or shocks were replaced recently. My car done 137k so decided to treat car with 2 new front shock absorbers.

Now is the question, reserved from ECP pair of Anschler Shock Absorber total came to £120.60 (with forum discount). Will you recommend Anschler shocks? Sounds german manufacturer.
How much would qualified fitter charge to replace 2 front shocks?

Thanks:thumb:

Go Sachs/Boge or Bilstein would be my choice especially on the front where you have to dismantle the strut/spring/suspension assembly to renew. Rears are an easier swap if they don't come up to the mark. Anschler are I believe ECP's "own brand" made for them by an outside manufacturer.

Thanks for suggestions but I want to get close to original spec

I am considering Sachs now

Thanks for advice

Got both shock absorbers replaced with Sachs parts, cost £210 fitted
