Any idea what this is? On the near side I can see about 4 wires for the demister. On the far side there is a two wire connector, is this for sat nav or phone? The other connection is to the far side rear seat belt.

The radio is working but this connector is not connected, what do I have to do?:D

Depending on what options your car has, it could be the TV aerial.

No TV in car. Remember reading about Comand if phone is installed then required separate aerial from radio aerial. As no phone was installed the connector is redundant. :D

If you do not have a TV, it does not mean you could not have the TV antenna "wires" at the rear window.

The phone and the GPS antenna are not on the rear window, either a shark fin antenna at the rear of the roof (face lift W211) or at the top of the rear window (but a separate part glued on the window).

Hi there
I do have a facelift W211 with telephone factory installed and a Comand APS retrofitter with TV in.
How do I find out if I have a TV antenna in the rear window ??
Thanks in advance
George

Can U send a photo - its highly likely to be the TV antenna connection that would connect to the antenna amplifier - there should be one on both sides (or spare wires on both sides atleast)
