Looks mucky; when's the last time the coolant was changed? - It could just be the effect of one of those "stop leak" products.

I haven't add antifreeze for a long time maybe 1 year.

You shouldn't need to add antifreeze every year; it should last longer than that. - Mine is normally still green when I change it.

I just meant that the brown colour may not be rust or other corrosion, it might just be that someone has tried to fix a slow leak somewhere and that's the gunk that is supposed to plug it.

why keep telling me warning "check coolant level" all time even in cold start up. I test it by removing sensor from coolant from the hole then start up the car and the light doesn't come on .when setup again in hole of reservoir and car start up it shows again message.????

You are checking the right tank?

I have a story about a naive student adding water to his power steering fluid....

Everyone knows you need to put it in your headlights so that they don't freeze over winter...

...and you put anti-freeze in the brake reservoir for the same reason.

(Please don't.)

The crud has probably gunked up you your level sensor. Hence why the warning keeps coming back. Probably best to flush the system a few times before adding fresh coolant.

have add some degreaser (window cleaner ) to coolant reservoir to clean it .does it make any damage ??

Hmm, not sure what that will do for the gaskets and hoses etc! Think you'd better go out and buy some radiator flushing solution from either a motor factors or Halfords!
