W212 4 Matic

I noticed that in the new March edition of What Car, they are now listing a 4-Matic verion of the new E Class (350 CDI if I remember correctly).

I knew they were planning to release 4WD verions in the US, but this one seems to have crept in quietly - and there's even a 'target price' for it.

Strange 'cos I can see nothing on the MB latest price list for it - downloaded just now from the web, and nothing in any recent UK motoring press.

Maybe a special edition just for What Car readers

Probably a mistake since they are only available in LHD so won't be coming to the UK afaik!

What Car are listing it but if you read the review it says you will have to put up with it being left hand drive because they can't or won't do the conversion.

It is annoying though because I would have definitely ordered it in RHD.

I'm not sure if the link will work but it was pointed out elsehwere that 4Matic C Class is shown on the MB Ireland website and an Ireland dealer said he could order one with an April delivery date! (I'm sure it's wrong though!!)
