W212 all terrain

Is it even mildly possibly to raise an s212 by about 40mm just like the w212 all terrain. Would love to be able to clear some of the ruts in a few of our local roads. Not suv height but a bit annoyed with some of our nearby speed bumps where always seem to bottom out.

Any thoughts on the topic?

The air suspension has this as an option and is particularly useful. My suspicion is that if you did a raise like that it would have a negative impact on other aspects of your driving, e.g. cornering stability etc. I guess there will be kits out there but 40mm may be quite an extreme change.

I hope you find a middle ground.
