W212 ambient lighting Mod kit

As title, come across this ambient lighting kit that works with the 1 colour or the 3 colour mb original ambient lighting. A how to video is also linked. I personally think I looks rather good. Quite a bit of work routing the wiring.

I watched that video quite recently. The kit looks excellent, but looks a real b@ll ache to fit. I wouldn't tackle the job that's for sure.

I'm of the same thinking, it's a great updated kit over the 1 or 3 colour mb original ambient lighting, but a little nasty to fit. Saying that, it's not to bad either. Wrong time of year, if fitting outside also. Would want a nice heated garage. Keep them fingers warm and not having them falling off

Looking at other kits, one company do a kit for the footwells also. That would be overkill for me.

Had the ambient lighting kit installed, really happy with the results. Will upload some photos asap.

So I've uploaded a few images of the new ambient lighting kit. I'm happy with the quality, it does give a different feeling in the car with the different colours to choose from.
