W212 DIY brake pad replacement?

I am considering changing the front pads on my W212 (2012, E-220 CDI Estate). Is this a job for a DIYer?

I guess if you have a trolley jack then why not. try youtube no doubt a video showing you how to do it as well. But consider how much money you could save by doing it yourself or pay a garage, Funny enough a mate just bought some calliper retracting tools on EBay for £16 full set to do any car.

As far as I'm aware changing the front pads wouldn't require a pad rewind tool as shown above. These are generally only used on the rear calipers and even then not all cars need them.
