Hi all

New error codes come up on the STAR this morning. Car wouldn't start and no gearbox selection. Looks like the dreaded selector is broken.
The error codes I got were P179C09 & U010187
Anyone had any similar experience and how have you resolved it.
In the past month I've have the TCU replaced, Alternator, Battery, last but not least I took the DPF off the car and gave it a good blast and fully cleaned up with a new DPF sensor, force regenerated the car.
Is this car now becoming a money pit, I do use it as a taxi but very carefully driven.

Having same problem, message display on dashborad is cra not in P position, consult workshop. No gear selection can be done. However, switch off engine and restart back, message gone, gear can be selected.
