W212 USB Port

Hi
This is my first time posting so please excuse me if this is a stupid question!
I have just bought a 2010 (Sept) E 250 CDI Avantgarde which has a standard single CD Audio 20 fitted.
I would like to be able to play music either direct from my iPhone or a USB stick and have read both in the manual and on line there should be a USB port in the centre arm rest.
As it stands the only thing I can find is the Aux jack plug in the glove box. Am I being totally blind or was the USB port a later addition or an extra when the car was new?

2010 will be Audio-20 NTG4 not NTG4.5, and thus no USB input. If it had COMAND NTG4.5 (and later MY2010 onward E class got COMAND NTG4.5) then it would have USB also
