Oh yes, where there was dead space giving headroom, sliding mechanisms, areas for glass to recline into eat into this. I sat in a 211 with this and noticed this was less, and a 6ft tall it was okay but just (and I sit low in a car)
The car comes as standard with a tyre pressure loss warning system Steve. That system uses the ABS signals to monitor individual wheel rotations and warns of a significant loss of air. The monitoring system shows the actual pressure in each wheel from a transmitter inside each tyre.
If Airmatic is not the bees knees Steve I'm blaming you for recommending it (regardless of whether you did or not).
If you don't like it I will travel upto shetland, (always wanted to go actually) and offer you a run in my AG 211. Afterwards then you'd appreciate the airmatic system as it will give you the taughtness of my car when you want to hustle it along, then the relaxed feeling of an elegance when you want to potter about and enjoy comfort.
Given the option to spec a 212 this is an option I would seriously contemplate
Does your car come with any window tints. AG 211's have a slight blue tint which takes the edge off the sunlight, with those long days (in summer) you may enjoy this.
Whats the px figure on the 204 if you don't mind me asking. Is JRW Aberdeen supplying the car, was there any discount on the car, and how did you find the buying experience and quality of the new dealership (east Tullos industrial estate now?)
I was happy with the deal.
Yes JRW are supplying the car.
Bought via one letter from me, one Email and two telephone calls from JRW. All done from the comfort of my armchair.
What about all the motors, electics etc that operate it. I'd be amazed, and would be a testimate to MB if they engineered their car not to lose roof space.
I've already got Intelligent lights on the W204 and they are standard on the W212 Avantgarde. I have to agree with you Diesel Benz, it is a great system and well worth having.
Now that you mention intelligent light system (622) being standard with Avantgarde I figured out I was thinking about the option code 608 (a cheap option that is not standard for us with Avantgarde). The 622 anyway is the main thing.
