W219 cls 4 bar front grille star removal

Does anyone know if the central star section removes completely?

Just assuming, I would think now the star just unclips and the new item clips in place.

I successfully removed the star from front grill a couple of months ago when I rear ended a BMW 520 a couple of months ago! But I presume your looking for a less costly way of doing so!

Hope your ok, good to know it comes off, I'll just ram the neighbours car lol

It all removes as one piece, then you can vcarefully prise off the chrome star
