Car
This and that..
As above, the visit workshop light has come on in the family w220. The car is now sitting pretty low, but the indie I use is 40 miles away. Is is ok to drive it? There doesn't seem to be any rubbing issues at the minute...

Warnings are two stage. Visit Workshop followed (not always) by Car Too Low. If you don't have the extra warning, car is probably ok to drive gently and carefully but you really should ask the Indie you plan on taking it to.

It's still on "visit workshop". Has travelled about 20 miles since it came on and has been parked up for a week waiting for a slot at the indie. Given it still seems to be clear of anything and the "too low" message hasn't come on, I think I'll give it a go. Worst case is I'll pull over and call them- the callout charge should at least go down with every mile!

Try raising the suspension, it may give you a few more miles
