W220 Rear footwell lights

Hi

Does anybody know how to replace the bulb for the rear footwell light on a 1999 S320 (W220). Its the little orange(ish) lamp that is at heel level, cant for the life of me work out how it comes out!

i think you will find it is a L.E.D. and the whole light has to be replaced, hope this helps

Any idea how it comes out though Chris?

you prise the whole lamp fitting out carefully, it's held by plastic spring tabs, when it starts to move be carefull as the wires are at a funny angle and it's easy to break the connector
