W221 Comand Telematics Update

Hi all. Need some help. While using STAR to update the Comand on the W221, it has come up with a message requiring a telematics update CD as below.

Does anyone know the MB part number for this CD please and also what is likely to be updated by it?

One of the MB Dealers thinks the Telematics Part Number is 2218276759 - however the numbers seem lower than those in the screenshot so would appreciate if someone could verify this. Thx.

The latest version (for Star 03/2010) for Series 216, 221 MOPF is A221 827 87 59

That is the MOPF version (MY10 facelift) and I don't know whether that is meant to work with the older (pre facelift) version

There was a version for Series 216, 221 with Star 11/2009 part number A221 827 83 59 which thus may be the correct one for pre facelift cars

These disks come with the monthly Star Diagnosis disk distribution, so dealer should have them. I do not know if they are orderable.

I have never tried a 'newer' version than the actual Star Diagnosis version that is being run, so I would suggest that the dealer is using Star 03/2010 and sees which disk it asks for. Or just order all 4 disks that the system is asking for and see which one is for your region ..
