I have a 2008 SL350 where the interior door handle spindle has broken on the drivers side behind the door card.
I have followed a posting and dismantled the door card and found the connecting spindle ( pull) to the interior handle has broken. New part is A230 7660067 which have ordered but cannot work out how to remove the existing spindle from its plastic mounting?? Is there some sort of circlip which holds it in place or do I have to break the screws and clips etc to gain access to the other side of the card, hope this all makes sense
