I am planning on going for a drive in Wales tomorrow

Planning to be in Hirwaun around 9.30 and then drive the loop.

Is that the 'EVO' loop your on about? If so could you report back on how it was? Im interested in taking my car around there. Cant make tomorow though, as im flying myself on a nice little saturday jaunt down to Half Penny Green (Wolverhampton Airport).

I went on the Saturday of the first bank holiday weekend - fantastic weather.

Laurie, I would definitely give you a buzz when I can your way again (hopefully in not too distance future as I am planning to do another Wales day drive - probably August bank holiday)

How many S classes get caned around a track

I'll post my next Wales trip in plenty of time (2 weeks in advance?) and you are more than welcome to join in

With regards to driving S Classes around a track, there are surprisingly many. I know of a few instructors at Brooklands using S55 AMGs to teach defensive driving / anti-car jacking courses. Their clients are mainly chauffeurs, car owners, Class 1 drivers, etc.

Apparently when they had the W220 S55, the diffs blow up at 3 month intervals
