Wanted: 42U Server Rack

I'm going to be cheeky - I was lucky a year or so ago, and thanks to a very kind member on the forum, I was donated a server rack...

The school I work for is now keeping it's servers on IKEA tables, and I have a mini-heart attack every time someone slams the door...

I'm keeping an eye out on eBay, but if anyone has a server rack they don't want anymore, we would love it! I can pay £40 out of my "liquid funds" budget; but I do realise it isn't much...

So, if anyone has a rack they don't want around Uxbridge, or they've seen a rack going cheap I would be very grateful if you could drop me a pm!

I wasn't going to ask directly... I felt too shy - but if you have one, you would make my life ALOT nicer!

I was considering lending the school the rack you gave me last year, but I'm too attached to it (and I don't want to put my bits on the floor )

If you do have one you don't want - It would be absolutely amazing! (and I'll make sure you don't have to crawl into the back of the car ).

That said, I still owe you a couple of pints from last time... Any pubs you prefer?

OK, got the green light, its yours whenever you want it.

It may be a little bigger than the last one.. its certainly heavy.

I guess worst case scenario we take it apart.

Hmm... I left 4 42u Dell server racks in the building that we vacated just over a year ago. The building its still there and its due to be knocked down. The racks are still there too....

I can let you know the location if you you pm me.....
