Wanted weekend Car AMG V8?

Looking for a 2003 E55K AMG idealy as a weekend car now the kids are older.
Would consider other like a CL, CLK etc even replicas as long as they are not oil burners!! Must be a V8 or V12?
Cash burning a hole....
Must be 10years old too so I can get on classic car policy!

Just so hard locating them in Manchester area?

What's your budget?

For a weekend toy, I'd be looking at CL's. Once you've driven one, everything else will disappoint.

Just like the look of the face lift E-Class E55k 500bhp also...
£7500 idealy...depends on car...needs to be a 4 seater...

The pre-facelift and facelift looks the same on the outside with the E55Ks, just some minor changes to the interior and updates to the car electronics. If you looking at the facelift, as in the E63 then your budget is way too low.

This is the previos model...

I just think the older model altho still fast at 376bhp is starting to look a little dated now, no offence to owners...Father in law has one...

But the CL was what I started looking at 1st...having had the s-class....but power to wieght....cl is huge and E Class smaller with same 500 BHP!!!

You seem to be getting confused, those two are different models, not face-lifted.

The top photo is a W211, the bottom a W210.

And the W211 E55 has 476bhp, the W220 and W215 '55K's have 500bhp.

OK yeh my Mistake..thay are both E-Class's is what I meant....should have said new Model...
When did the W211 come out...2002?
I want an early W211....E55k...150k on the clock no issue if looked after...plus being a weekend car if I have to tinker with it all the better! LOL So lang as is not replacing gearbox or engine LOL.
I'd deffo look at a CL55k tho...but altho start 1999 or maybe 98 they still seem to hold their pennys more than the E Class...
