I have a C180 (W202) and have found water in the nearside footwell.

Any ideas where this could be entering the car (and I have checked the interior heater and the water is not from here).

Any ideas are appreciated

Many Thanks :)

Have you looked in the air intake in front of the windscreen, take off the grill and you could find that the drain hole is blocked in the bottom of the box

Thanks for the pointers - found muddy sludge in the drain from the heater unit and also a piece of fabric in the drain from the windscreen - this seems to have cleared the leaks. :D

how do you take it off?.Are there screws or clips?

no screws or clips, when looking in the engine bay (at the passenger side of the car - you can see the drain pipe leading towards the inner wing - it just lifts out and you can clear anything out of this. the windscreen drain can be seen at the lower corners of the screen while the bonnet is open.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

ok so there are two then. A windscreen one and a heater drain. I see a long pipe with two holes either end stretching across the windscreen just below the air intake in the front glass
If you can post some pics it will be much appreciated.
