Hi folks - any common areas to look at? Boot seal looks OK - no obvious signs where water is getting in but it sure is. Thought I'd ask first rather than remove all interior trim and get in boot with torch and ask wife to fire garden hose at it - she might drive straight to nearest scrap yard crusher

Hi,
I too have water leak into the boot on my CLS, mine seemed to appear after I replaced the plastic trims either side in the boot shut and I had to remove the boot rubber in this area, but removing refitting the boot rubber still hasn't solved it.
My conclusion is that it has to be one of the rear light cluster gaskets, which I am going to be ordering from MB very soon.
If anyone else has any ideas on where the leak could be please comment.

I'd remove all the boot trim, get a friend to spray every part while you sit inside with a torch, check where its leaking.

:D :D :D

Get the friend to sit inside instead?
