Waterless Wash and Wax question

Yep, I've used Grease Lightning showroom shine, it's good, now I'm trying Williams waterless wash and wax.

I applied it directly with a deep pile microfiber as its pretty thick, left to haze and then buffed it off.
I'm not expecting any longevity from it as it will be washed after a weekends drive. I'd rather use that than a detailer spray that's very thin

Err, Have any of you guys had an extremely off topic email notification about this thread?????

WTF!!!

You must have been specially chosen for a private rendition!

hahaha, bugger.... Excuse the pun!

I must add to this .I have used this , and still do for a quick clean i must have 2 gallon of it in my cabinet .The [war depot] wife use it more than i do .She has just got over both hip replacements in the last 12 months its easy,, she said to clean her car with this polish . But i would only use it on a clean car .You can use this on tires windows but not on the front window,, and also alloys it gets all the black dust off the wheels, if you let the polish sit on it for a few mins before removal .Dont use a good duster on the alloys they will need putting in the bin after. The secret is the micro cloth. And you must use them to put the polish on and to remove it . Idea is the micro cloth will remove all the dirt and dust,, so you need a few micro cloths to do the job right,;. Ideal World do a package of polish - plus so many micro cloths. Look for a special deal polish plus micro cloths .

Tried Williams waterless wax , very good. Get plenty of micro fiber clothes, clean & rinse them in bucket of boing water then throw in washer. Puchased Carbuna wax from ebay 5 litres , fantastic quality and have no swirls , scratches as had car from new. Swear by it after 40 years of water & soap I will never revert. Plus I have 3 other cars to detail. I use Autoglym for windows, tyres & rubber. I have waxed my car then coated with Crystal serum nano just the once. All helps cars shine like a bucket of snot & water & dirt dont stick. Pros are you can take waterless wax anywhere & do it. Mrs just got new Skoda Karoq , went in for an issue with sqeaking breaks 2000 miles. Came back & the bulls pricks had washed it, covered it in swirls & scratches used water & leather. Grrrrrr they were asked not to clean but forgot. I was sceptical about the waterless wax hype, how wrong its fantastic. The key is keep micros cleaned & stocked up. Well worth the effort. Winter I spray wheels with WD 40 & leave em for 5 months. Dont clean. Until spring when they get washed down with autoglym & waterless wax. Hope this helps :)

Wvchem your post is spot on, and to use it just as you have .Like the bit about microfibre clothes the more you use the better. By the way just had 4 more bottles delivered to-day good deal right now on Ideal World .

I use tyre shine on the wheels & engine, leave it for an hour & wipe off.
I also spray it on wheels after I've cleaned them & leave it on, just a wipe with a Micro at the end of the week & they look like new.I never ever use it on the tyres as I don't like shiney tyres (lo)
I agree about the waterless wash, I have t the stuff with carnuba & without all good, as said good quality Miroo cloths seem to be the key.I also use a detail sparay as I now have a Black car & everything shows

I use the Williams on everything even alloys .Let it stand for a few mins them poilsh off .Rubber looks better after the WWAW treatmant .I also have some trim thats never shined from the first day i had the car .But that even shines as it should now .Mrs uses it on lots of things in the home .

Another 1 here for waterless wash, I just can't get my head around it. I no all the top players now sell it but I am still in favour of snow foam and 2 bucket method etc.
