Canbus problems.
I have just got a Webasto Parking Heater build into my new W246 (B200 Petrol model), and it will not work, because after few minutes use I start the engine, and the Mercedes build in computer thinks, that the cooling / heating temperature water sensor measures very strange values (P0116) resulting in the cooling fan behind the engine cooler runs at maximum speed and the ECO function is swichted off.
This condition continues until the Error code via the OBD device is erased.
The current solution is to accept, that the water flow is reversed resulting in only small amount of heat going to the engine and only short running time (15 minuttes) or remove the whole installation.
Any feasible solution is very welcom to avoid removing it.
Comment, Mercedes has it standard from manufactiring with feature # 228, where it should work. I can't figure out, if it is Mercedes or Webasto, who is not willing to solve the problem. Please help....
