No longer a Benz...
Well its my 40th next year and I know its a while off (June) but my girlfriend has just told me that over the nearest weekend to my birthday a Gallardo will be delivered to me on the Friday night and taken from me on the Monday morning...
I was speechless!!!! for once..... In a few words.... "I cant bloody wait!!!!"

I'll come and find you Matt.....

Get her to have a chat with my GF.

I would do the ironing for a WHOLE day if she did that for me.

You're a lucky guy!!

I wish I was loved that much:(

One word of warning though. There's normaly a low milage restriction. So if you cane the milage, it may cost her more than she thought.

But - stuff it what the hell :D

Enjoy.

Jay.

All of a sudden a wife swap seems interesting - but I'm not sure i'd find many takers for a Gallardo vs a pair of socks.

But you never know, they are realy nice socks....

Great Present....

what do I get....a bread maker....

and not the sort of bread that would buy the Lambo.

I love her though so I'm happy

My wife would give me this:

Great Pressie!

My GF got me a helicopter flying lesson for my birthday this year, which I did on Saturday. I've been a passenger plenty of times, but never taken the controls. To be frank, they are twitchy little buggers, much more so than I was expecting.. but I didn't crash it, so I'll call that a result. Don't think I'll be taking it up as a hobby though, at £250 an hour :o.

Enjoy the Lambo.. try and find a tunnel to take it through with the windows rolled down to enjoy the soundtrack!

Cheers,

Gaz

Nice one.For my fortieth in March,I went to St Anton ski-ing.I thought I was going with 3 or 4 of my mates but upon arriving at Stanstead I was met by about 25 of them. What a week!

Back in the day my Father-in-law hired a Porsche 944 for the weekend for my Mother-in-law's birthday.

After breakfast he took her outside, opened the garage door, and she just assumed he'd bought it for her!!

To be fair he did have a habbit of coming home in a new car unannounced.

She didn't know quite what to say though as she can't stand Porsches, but didn't want to appear ungrateful. She was relieved to find out the truth.

Strangely enough, if he hired me a Porsche I'd be chuffed to bits. That's a hint if the outlaws are reading this!!

Don't prang it for gawd sake ....lovely present, great to have that to look forward to for half a year!

My bro has this in his garage, its the car he & andy_cyp entered in the FB5K(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD1xQbCF8bI) it will eat 99% of cars on the road today! just got to find the keys now ;)
