In a rather unusual car.

It was a bit too dry to get into any difficulty but fun none the less.

Anyone know much about these Mitsubishi Pajero Evolutions?

Pajero, is the name given to Shogun in other markets. don't know about the Evolution though. Plenty of info if you google.

Wasn't the Evo a "hot" version of the Shogun?
I'm pretty certain it's a 3.5 V6 and made for the Paris-Dakar.

That's all I can recall, though.

It is a homogolation car .. approximately 500 made to allow a batch to enter the dakar in the production class.

A 3.2L quad cam V6 with all four cams having variable valve timing and lift (280hp) and fully independant suspension.

We picked it up with the engine in boxes in the boot a couple of months ago.

It goes rather well I have to say.

Ebay advert is interesting.

That looks hard as nails:cool: I want one!

Really makes me miss going green laneing in my old rangie:(

Fuel consumption makes you wince though.

£40 worth of juice in 70 miles.

Now it really does bring back memories of my Range Rover:D

Thankfully it also ran LPG. But it did less MPG on that!! Good job LPG was half the price of petrol.

Where is that Spike? I'll join you in my Jeep...

It was down near Shere (guildford direction) but the lanes were too dry to be honest and many of them now have width restrictions so that they cant be used unless your vehicle is less than 4'11" (bikes and quads are OK).

I'm looking for somewhere pay and play like Toms Farm or something. Do you know somewhere suitable?

A friend had one of those and my god was it quick! Flat out it would eat fuel...but the handling was great for a car like that and it sounded awesome.

Great car, and quite unique.

Pajero is a very rude word in Spanish !

Is it me or does that thing have devil horns on the back?
