What can I use to clean the fuel injectors ports with ?

Car is a 2010 Mercedes e350 3.0v6.

I'm replacing the injector seals and now looking at cleaning the ports , what could I use to clean those with ?

I used to use brake cleaner, as long as you can make sure that it does not go into the combustion chamber.

Would it be better to spray it on a cloth and also does it need wiping off the sides of the cylinder ports afterwards ?
