What car do you still need to own?

I bought the attached car a couple of years ago whilst drunk in charge of ebay:o

the only 4 cars a man could ever need....

still winning?
I like the escort, its retro also like mk1 XR2 fiestas each to their own though haha

Jaguar C Type
1961 Corvette
CLK 63
1960's Mercedes saloon
Citreon 2 CV with wide wheels.

XR3 "I" If you please! I could never afford a nice one when i was young, so when i seen that one with 3 owners and pretty much restored and me being half cut i had to buy it.

I got a right earful off the Mrs when i bought because it went straight into the garage and i only used it about twice!

I've also had a 2000 G400 CDi, that was pretty cool. It sounded like Satan snorting powder when it was de-accelerating!

Dont blame you good buy, even though you where half cut!

Mk1 mexico would also be nice

I've never had a MK2 Escort either, i've had MK1, 3 and 4. I always thought a good MK2 shell dropped onto a Subaru Sti chassis would be a great project.

I'm actually quite content with what I have , but if ( from the half dozen times a year I do it ) the lottery dropped a bucket of cash in my lap , then I'd fancy the following .

W113 230SL Automatic
Ponton 220S Cabriolet
W111 280SE 3.5 Cabriolet
W109 300SEL 6.3
W116 450SEL 6.9
W107 450SLC 5.0
R107 500SL
R129 SL600

Oh , for use in winter

300TE 4-Matic
Any older air-cooled Beetle with 12V electrics .

And for nostalgia

W110 190
W115 220/8 with manual column change ( the car I learned to drive on ) .

Of course , if I ever became obscenely , filthy rich ( it won't happen ) then I'd have something like an S , SS , SSK or SSKL , maybe a 540K Special Roadster and something Veteran from the dawn of motoring like a Mercedes 60 or a 90 as campaigned in the early road races . Since I would not need to work , I'd spend my time participating in events like 'Classic Days' touring the world's nicest scenery in the world's nicest cars
