C Class saloon 67 plate - facelift?

Hi James,

I am told you are fountain of knowledge regarding MB ?

I wonder if you can tell me if the 67 plate will bare any new bits since the 66 plate? I.e. Facelift 2017?

My theory is that it won't be any different to that of the 66 Plate instead it will be in 2018?

Lastly I have not driven the 9g auto but only the 7g is there any improvements in mpg?

Is it a factory order car? If so, it'll be 9G-Tronic. The facelift will arrive next year at some point

We have an eclass estate on order dealer rang up to say that there will be 2-3month delay if we want to wait for the 360 camera rather than the standard reverse camera. Given that we placed the order in May I was pretty surprised by this? Heard of this one before? The eclass has most of the options thrown at it but I guess that missing the 360degree camera won't make much difference come resale time.

What I would suggest going for is the 66L fuel tank for £45, as the standard one is smaller now. You're probably too late to specify that though.

I wasn't aware of a delay on the 360 camera to be fair. What's the full spec?

Hi posted this on a thread of its own but, having just noticed this thread I'll put it to you too. Just spec'd a new car and put it to carwow as detailed in the post below.

As for the specification, does anyone have any experience with the white seats, is it something that I'm immediately going to regret? What are the thoughts on the designo paint? I have no experience with matte cars, is it easy to maintain? Will there be enough contrast between the grey and the carbon fibre or would I be better off with silver to set it off?

If you want the remote park pilot (the one from outside the car) then you must specify the 360 camera. No camera then no Remote Park Pilot. I think that the remote park pilot will be one of the few options that may help future residuals.

The white seats look great, they'd be what I'd order. It's all personal preference though. It does go well with the carbon imo. I like the matte grey, but I wouldn't have it for a daily driver.

Each dealer offers their own deal on carwow, but I'm happy to see if I can compete if you wish

It's an E43 estate premium plus without (it's easier to say what's not on) head up display, remote parking, AMG seats rear heated seats. It has pretty much everything else.

I personally don't think that 360 camera and installation of remote parking is a big miss on the spec sheet but what do you think?

I have build slots now, so there's no reason to worry. Allocation differs from dealer to dealer
