I am about to order a W205 C Class to replace my current 2015 C300h. it is a company car through Lex and the current lease ends on September 28th with the replacement due on the same day. Their ordering system has let me configure and supposedly order a replacement C300h to the exact same specification as my current 2015 model. I have however heard reports that the C300h has been discontinued and will be replaced by a plug in diesel.

If Lex place the order this week with Mercedes, what are the chances of me getting it? Given that production of the facelift model commences in June and the Mercedes website will not let me configure the pre-facelift model, would i get the facelift model on a late September delivery?

It hasn’t been possible to factory order a C Class in the current model for a couple of months. Unless they’re able to find a physical stock car for you, it’ll be the C300de that you’ll have to go for

I believe that it won’t be available from launch. It’ll be from December build, as they’re a 4 month gap in production for some engines due to the implementation of new emission testing. They’re not able to get every engine through the testing in time for the initial launch

James, thank you again for the quick response. I'll hopefully wait a call from Lex to tell me they can't source a stock C300h with the options I want and will hopefully suggest the C300de as an alternative.

No problem. As I said, it’s not available from launch, so I’d be surprised if they have any info for you. Can your current agreement be extended

Quick question. Does option code 808 on the build sheet which I have just received for my E Cab (due build date 09 June 18) mean MY18 car or the revised MY19 (Euro 6d WLTP and other enhancements) car. I reckon it should say 809 for MY19 or am I missing something??
