Hi All

Just been looking at some old posting and one that I don’t understand is sap Bluetooth, I have comfort phone in my car but don’t have the cradle but the car still connect with the Bluetooth, but I cant read or send text with the command I do have a iphone. Is this what the sap cradle is for?

Thanks Paul

SAP = SIM Access Profile also known as rSAP = remote SIM access Profile

A particular bluetooth protocol that enables the SAP cradle/puck to take on the properties of your SIM card. Your mobile in effect, goes to sleep and all functions are through the SAP puck.

iPhone does not support SAP. In fact very few mobiles do. Many Nokia

Ok i Understand now I think, If I had a nokia phone with that supported SAP, I would need the sap bluetooth to send and receive text. no other way of doing it
