I need to get a pair of tyres on the front of our A class they have Dunlop sport on at the moment but they have only lasted 13k miles
I was thinking of replacing them with Continentals
Has anyone got any thoughts and can i mix the tyres 2 Continentals on the front and Dunlop on the rear

Yes you can mix them front and back. Personally I would never mix an axle set though. Ie: keep two front the same and the two rears the same. I went from Uniroyals to Pirelli P6000 (I think) and they are way noisier. Just my 2p worth.

The Pirelli P6000's where factory fitted with the A class IRC. I recon the Goodyear NCT Eagles are a allround better tyre.

I'm running Michelin Primacy HP on my car (yes I know its RWD) and they're performing much better all round than Continentals. I've already passed the point at which I had to replace the Contis on the rear and there is still plenty of tread.

I had Continentals and still have them on the fronts but switched the rears to Goodyear F1 assymtrics...Nice handling - but I think mpg has dropped slightly...not 100% sure..

This site offers good reviews:

I'm in the process of switching from Michelin Pilot Primacy to Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics. I've been very happy with the Michelin's but fancied trying something else so opted for the Eagles after reading reviews. I'll let you know how I find them!

My Viano has had Goodyear eagle NCT5's on from new and currently on 32000 miles. The fronts are wearing more than the back but I've got months in them yet.

I have conti sport contact 2, great tyres, no noise but do wear quite quickly,
Tried p6000 didn't like them. Car originally came with Bridgestones, liked them.

Not a bad site but it doesn't test for noise which I find important. I hate a lot of road noise and as I don't thrash around like a boy racer I would compromise a little on other factors for a quiet ride.
