What W-Number?

I have a 2003 C-Class Estate C180K but I see on here that the cars get refered to by a W-Number, what number is mine?

W201 is the Cosworth 190E 2.5 16V shape.
W202 is that over there <------
W203 yours
W204 current C class

Took me a while too

Your VIN will contain the W number.

I suppose the point is if you just said C180 K estate (albeit you do state the year), that does not tell us what model it is. I have an E320cdi. That could be a w210 or w211. Both entirely different cars.

W202 (1993–2000)
W203 (2001–2007)
W204 (2007–present)

So yours would be a W203 as previously mentioned

The Xxxx is the first four characters of the chassis number.

You'll find it at the base of the windscreen on the passenger side.
